It is a folk tale about Meenakshi Amman Temple that is the same place where Lord Shiva turned into Sundareswarar (the handsome one) to marry the Goddess Parvati (Meenakshi). The architectural style of this temple in Madurai is inspired by Dravidian. Around 33,000 sculptures are present inside the temple complex, dating back to 3000 years (approx.).
